This summer I had the privilege to be a member of a team of 11 travelling from Ireland to Guatemala to work with the Methodist Church and Christian Aid. I can confidently say the 2 weeks I had on that journey have inspired and changed me.for more.
On Saturday 16th June the Family BBQ was held at the Archdale Hall rather than the Rectory due to the likelihood of rain. The two Bouncy Castles being erected in the hall provided plenty to do for all ages .....for more.
We are very much looking forward to moving to Ballinamallard. My childhood was spent in Co Derry (Dungiven and Limavady) and my ministry began in St Columba's Parish, Portadown, where I met and married Heather. We then moved to Dungannon and from there to Ballygawley. We have been privileged to spend the last 19 years in Mullavilly, between Portadown and Tandragee. .....for more.
GFS has just completed another year, with girls from Magheracross Branch attending the Diocesan 'fun night' which was hosted by Fivemiletown Branch. There was music, fun and games, hot-dogs and juice were provided. This was a very enjoyable event and a good time was had by all. Nikki McTaggart, our new Youth Minister, jointly with the Methodist Church, was welcomed at a BBQ in her honour on Friday evening 8th July. A team of Cub Scouts from Ballinamallard attended the N.I. Cub Football finals in Bangor on Saturday last (3rd June) and came home with two trophies. In the morning competition the Cubs drew three games and lost two, and qualified for the "BLUES" section of the competition. In this section they were up against teams from Belfast, Londonderry, Banbridge and Strabane.....for more.
